RSAO, LSAO Heavy Series

Fafnir RSAO and LSAO units are ideally suited for installations where the load is heavy in proportion to the shaft diameter or where considerable shock loads exist. Incorporating a high capacity GN-KRRB (R-Seal) wide inner ring bearing, or a GN-KLLB bearing for the LSAO unit, these units have the same base-to center height and bolt hole spacing as Fafnir heavy series SAO pillow blocks.

   These pillow blocks are prelubricated and ready for immediate use. For wet or extremely dirty conditions, a grease fitting installed in place of the standard 1/8" pipe plug will provide means of relubrication through a groove in the inside surface of the housing. All units are supplied with self-locking collars.

 

Recommended shaft tolerances:

1 1/16" - 1 15/16" (nominal to -.0005")

2" - 3 15/16" (nominal to -.0010")
